Welcome to my blog! My name is Kinga Dyrda, and I am the proud owner of Images By Frost located in Edmonton Alberta. I specialize in wedding photography and engagements but offer a wide range of services in portraits and maternity. I am an Edmonton wedding photographer, but travel all over the world to cover destination weddings. This includes Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Europe. In 2010 I will be servicing Vancouver, British Columbia and surrounding areas.

Downtown Edmonton Engagement Photography with Amy and Adam

The first time I met Adam was in 2007 at the Bangkok international airport. I got off a brutal 18+ hour flight at 2 o'clock in the morning. Needless to say, I was no happy camper. The first person I met was Adam, who introduced himself as a group leader and the rest is history.

The sexy couple at the top left are Shaun&Linds Rafal&I. The guy in the top middle photo, is Curtis Smith. He is the guy that created Free & Easy. The guy in the red cap is Adam aka Jesus :)

Along with our close friends Shaun and Lindsay, my husband and I booked a 6 week trip to Thailand. Our back packing adventure through this beautiful country, was organized by a company called, Free and Easy. I have a lot of great memories and amazing photographs to remind me of this once in a lifetime experience.

This past July, I received an email from Adam entitled, 'BIG NEWS'. Oh boy, was he right. Adam got engaged to his lovely girlfriend, Amy. They were both very excited and looking forward to the big day. I was ecstatic they chose me to be their wedding photographer. I was really looking forward to shoot their engagement photos.

Hey Kinga, I could not wait to get home from Portland so i could see these pictures. My blackberry wouldn't allow me to see them so one of the things I wanted to do was see these pictures. Thailand was an amazing experience and meeting Adam was a blessing. These pictures Kinga, wow, just wow. You have really captured their moment, their expression and their love. You just have that magic touch that really captures what people are experiencing in that moment. It's like your not even there. We love you Kinga, keep doing what you do best!

Oh my! You guys look amazing in these shots! I really like the one with the red guitar, especially the heart shaped tuning keys. That shot reminds me of Adam and his guitar when he was still a hippie with a guitar, hehe! It almost tells a story.. I was a man with a guitar. Now, I am a man with a woman in my arms.
